Here is the first development build of 0.7.11 - after a busy summer, which prevents me to do what I wanted to do with AiOS. :roll:

This summer also reveals some new bugs, which I want to fix before the development of 0.8 goes on. First there are some toolbar problems. Originally I wanted to add some fixes to this version, but it's much more complicated as I could think of. I decided to not add them to 0.7.11. Until now there are not many changes in comparison with 0.7.10, except you are using Mac OS X. :D But I will implement some more bugfixes before releasing 0.7.11. We will see what the next days and weeks will bring us...

Is that really your intention? install.rdf says FF 3.5 - 3.6.*

ff 3.6 .. sidebar icon shortcuts with pulldown menu ruin fuck up width size, pulldown is to right side pushing things out more, instead of directly below icon as it should be for that sidemenu(check 3.5 screenshot)

also what happened to the white background for the toolbar buttons??? and the the icon padding nutz.. also why is there such crazy padding for the window, look at my 3.5 screenshot, much better in everything, no crazy padding... more visible space for extensions/downloads info, and not grey toolbar padding from all sides.

click it yourself 3.6: h**p://img10.imageshack.us/img10/2587/aios2.jpg

much better padding(ie NOT A LOT)
click it yourself 3.5: h**p://img10.imageshack.us/img10/5348/aios.jpg

offtopic Download Manager Tweak seems to completely fuck the download panel up :(

a real shame about the set back with 3.6.. if only those fucking morons at mozilla actually had a clue, can you imagine the fuckup we're going to see with that shitty 4.0 gui :O eeurgh fucking noob idiots.

oh it also seems like some options from mr tech, like making the theme previews show at the bottom, no longer work, and so the theme sidebar is fucked up , theme previews to the right side doesn't work..I might I add that I users should have to go use another another extension like mr tech, to change something like theme preview location for aios, it really should be an option provided within AIOS really or just made default to show at the bottom with aios :)

I concur with this. Big fat gap.

Also some slight clipping in the shortcuts dialog:

Besides that, using AiOS on a pretty much default Firefox, it all looks pretty good :)

Oops, not really. While development I thought I could limit it to 3.5 and higher. But I realise that 15% of the users still using Fx < 3.5 ... Thanks for the hint.

Which theme do you use?

It's not reproducible for me. Probably a theme problem again...

The link to an image is an URL. And messages with URL's are not allowed for guests. Sorry.

Again not reproducible for me. Theme problem?

It's already the default setting. :D

It's already the default setting. Very Happy "

strange even with mr tech disabled, default 3.6 style, the theme preview is split to the right side, and not below.. so something is wrong

ok.. been playing about with the some of the AIOS settings, seems like most my reported issues have been fixed now..

"Optimize layout for the sidebar" , had been turned off for all sidepanels ( was done in recommendation to get previous AIOS release to work with FF3.6), and that was causing most the annoying issues (I'm surprised you didn't spot the mistake). Theme previews now at bottom, and no extra wasteful padding. Well apart from the Stylish panel still has that annoying extra padding, maybe you could fix that one? seeing as Stylish displays styles in the Extensions panel aswel.

only issue now is the one already reported with the toolbar buttons with the dropmenu, causing sidebar to stretch width, and ones in first screenshot posted where the height is too much and shows some weird line.

No, I can't fix that. Only the developer of Stylish could do that. Or you could do that by adding some code to your userChrome.css: :D

Code:
#styles-container, #styles {
   margin: 0px !important;
   padding: 0px !important;
}

Please check the hidden setting extensions.aios.vbuttons

This was reported earlier and will be fixed in the next build.

I just opened a thread about incompatibility with Add-on Compatibility Reporter. Mentioning it here because that extension is especially relevant for betatesters. Mozilla recommends it on the whatsnew page. Would be great if this could be fixed in the dev build so people can use the compatibility reporter tool.
