Resetting the toolbars by starting Firefox in Safe Mode and choosing Reset toolbars and controls mostly solves such problems. Before you do this, you may find it useful to take note of what you have on your toolbar, because any toolbar customizations you have made will be lost.

This is still an issue for me, The only way to get the buttons back is to open a new Fx window. So I launch Fx, then hit the 'Open a new Window button' and then the icons are there.
I have tried resetting the toolbar and it did nothing. i have heard from several ppl I know who use AiOS and they have the exact same issue and it started when they installed Fx 3.5.
Also, I have 2 computers and they both have the same issue, Desktop with vista and a Laptop with Win7 (when XP was on it I had the same issues)

Hello tekjock,
can you post a list of your installed extensions please? Are you able to reproduce the problem with all extensions disabled except AiOS?

Same problem here with FF 3.5 -- on initial startup,
AIOS buttons don't show, forcing a restart which is
when they return.

Are there any analogies with the installed add-ons from jumapili? Which OS do you use?

If you are a newbie on your mac and you are not sure how to start in safe mode. Make sure your firefox is closed... Then hold down the option key while you open firefox. Then select the reset toolbars and then restart.
Thank You so much for the help
