the new version AiOS 0.7.6 is released. Please check the changelog and the known issues.

Please take note that AiOS 0.7.6 should be the last release of AiOS for Firefox 2. The next version of AiOS, which will be 0.7.7 or 0.8, will be compatible only from Firefox 3 upwards. It will contain significant changes of the toolbar configuration system. Please read more if you interested.

I posted a bug report earlier about AIOS preventing Firefox 3 from completing exiting. I speculated that it was actually a combination of AIOS and some other extension. Well, I finally found the combination which causes this behavior. It was AOIS and Firebug 1.2.0a. That is specifically any of the alpha releases of Firebug 1.2. I have upgraded to Firebug 1.2beta4 and this problem has gone away. Just thought I would mention this. Thanks. - John Underwood
