Post subject: Toolbar Ordering not working?
PostPosted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 11:04 pm
Hi,

If I create a new toolbar and add some buttons to it, then use the right-click "Toolbar Properties" and select "Bottom" or any other orientation the toolbar disappears!

Any chance of a fix?

Using FF 3 RC3.

Dave

PostPosted: Sat Jun 14, 2008 8:11 pm
Hi,

First of all I have to apologize for my poor English :( But I hope you can understand me though.

If I open the bookmarks in the sidebar and want to edit a bookmark I haven't the possibilty to edit the tags. Is that normal? Do I have to open the bookmark manager if I want to tag a bookmark?

I hope my question wasn't asked before :)

PS: Great extension :!:

This is something in Firefox itself. I know, it's not so good, and I hope they will change that.
PS: it is easier to open the web page, and in the location bar there is a star, click on that (twice) and you can add a tag.

To eXXille:

I have found no problems, but I am going to ask for a detail.
The button "toggle sidebar automatically is outdated, can you add a new one?
Surely now the new mac theme is finished.
Thanks.

 Post subject: sidebar not shown
PostPosted: Mon Jun 16, 2008 8:10 pm
Hi, after I upgraded from 0.7.3 to 0.7.6 RC1, the sidebar content (bookmarks, history, ...) wasn't visible, and after I had hit ctrl + b twice, the toolbar was also gone. In a new window everything was fine. Restarting Firefox fixed the problem.

you could also install this addon, which makes it possible to add tags to bookmarks from the bookmark properties:

This is a known issue of 0.7.6. I will not fix this issue, because I will remove the toolbar stuff from AiOS. Please read more if you're interested...

Yes, surely the theme is finished. I will see what I can do for the next version of AiOS. :D

Oh, thank you :D Sounds interesting. Unfortunately it's yet experimental. But I will keep an eye on it :)

 Post subject: bug when exiting
PostPosted: Tue Jun 17, 2008 4:37 pm
This is a bug I have seen in the last several builds under FF 3.0 bX and FF3.0 RCx when using AIOS. When I exit Firefox, the process goes to 50% CPU and hangs indefinitely. If I disable AOIS, exiting works as expected.

Since I haven't seen other people reporting this problem, it is probably my configuration and set of extensions. Here is what I am using under FF 3.0 RC2:

Adblock Plus, Adblock Plus: Element Hiding Helper, Add Bookmark Here 2, Advanced Dork, Answers, CoLT, CS Lite, Custom Buttons 2, Deng Google Bookmarks, Extended Copy Menu, Facebook Toolbar, Firebug, FireShot, FlashGot, GMarks, Grab and Drag, gTranslate, GUtil!, HttpFox, Link Evaluator, Live HTTP headers, Locationbar2, Menu Editor, Modify Headers, Nightly Tester Tools, No Squint, NoScript, Personas for Firefox, Print Preview, Prism for Firefox, ScrapBook, Screen grab!, ScribeFire, SearchWP, Shareaholic, SmoothWheel, Split Browser, Stylish, Sxipper, Tab Catalog, Tab Mix Plus, TableTools, TagSifter, Tamper Data, Text Link, TotalToolbar, Tree Style Tab, User Agent Switcher, WeatherBug, Weave, Web Developer.

I am happy to help in anyway, just let me know. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It seems so, because I also can't reproduce this problem. Perhaps you could disable all extensions one by one to see if there is any conflict between AiOS and another extension. And you could try to test AiOS in a clean profile to see if this is a problem of a cluttered profile folder.
