Selecting "View Image Info" context menu now goes to the "Media" tab, but selects the first item on the list, rather than the selected image.
Also, Ctrl+Left click on Add-Ons icon opens the sidebar rather than a tab.
And when opening Page Info in a tab, The Media & Feeds tabs are missing.
Using 3.6b4, clean profile with just AIOS installed.

is it possible for the scroll position to reset back to the top every time sidebar is opened?
I dont like that I have to scroll up every time after reopning the sidebar (if the sidebar has more bookmarks than vertical screen estate allows without scrolling)

This will be fixed in the next build.

I can confirm this. Thanks for reporting!

Mmh, how do you open the Page Info in a tab?

You should disable the feature called Sidebar Collapsing.

And here we are again
two things:
the add-ons sidebar has still some troubles with its adjustment to the sidebar
only now also without first checking for updates.
When the sidebar gets to small, the add-ons panel doesn't fit.
And when opening the bookmarks or history in a separate window, there is a translucent background around the search field.
This probably of the main theme, but can easily be fixed by a white background for the window?

Ctrl+Left click on "Display extensive information about a web page", not Page info. My mistake.

The problem is, that the extensions title doesn't shrink when the sidebar is very small. I will see if I could improve this.

S**t, I was hoping I could fix it before you report it.
I see that the font of your bookmarks in the window is also very pixelated - very strange...

Mmh, but this isn't working for me, such as the Ctrl+Left-click on Add-ons... At present it's not possible for me to open Page Info in a tab (with the exception of using the chrome url of the page info panel manually).

Before I do ??? Is it so annoying to get so many bug reports from me?
I'm trying to help to make AIOS the best add-on there is, so I will continue to make bug reports (therefore is the beta, at least if there is something to report... )

Yes, and resizing that window sometimes messes up the text, so that the text is above other text, but I don't know why, and I don't carry much about, usually nobody is using that window I think?

Oh, please don't get me wrong. I just wanted to say that I observed this bug and I was very sure that you will report it. It was just a test how good your testing is. It seems that it's perfect.

Of course, please make bug reports as much as you can. It's good for me and the extension.

I also think that nobody is using this window. Therefore I already thought I could remove this feature…

Btw, testing is never perfect, It is always a feature that you need, and then looking for other details if it works
Here is next:
On mac that little pill on the right up corner of a window,
it hides the toolbars, but it hides also the aios toolbar and sidebar switch, although they are not turned off in the menu view
I know from the past this was difficult to implement, but how is the status now?
And if still difficult, possible to gray it out in the menu? when the pill is pressed?
Aside this, I have also filled bug 532409, now it is to easy to forget that button, hopes it get more attention in general when this is added.
Maybe it is possible to change status with this menu if it is added?

For me possible, but maybe someone else had a thought about that in this tread?
Well, the option to open the Bookmark Manager window instead, from the sidebar header, is rather useful.
I also sometimes (but not always) find it very useful to have the error logger, page source or page info displayed in a separate, resizeable window. Possibly because I'm working with a single 17" (43 cm total diagonal) CRT monitor. Is such a display size universally considered small nowadays?

I have to say that I didn't have a closer look to this for a long time. I hopfully can do this in the next days...

Just my two cents as an user: I always using the source code in a window and never in the sidebar, because I also use the HTML Validator and the sidebar is to small to show both in a practical manner. Sometimes I also use the error console in a window. But all other panels are always used in the sidebar. Do you really use the bookmarks or the history in a window sometimes?

Not the bookmarks or history themselves but I thought you were talking about removing that choice from all the buttons in the sidebar toolbar. Not having the dynamic choice for the Error Console and Page Info panels would be a loss of facility for me. I seldom use Page source and so I could more easily adapt to always use a new window for that.
As for bookmarks and history, I certainly do use the facility in Options -> Panels -> Panel Tab
to "Enable Bookmark Manager in New Tab" (actually, in my usage, 'New Window')
so I can easily open the 'Library' window from AIOS, while still choosing to normally display the bookmarks themselves in the sidebar. Not only is that Bookmark Manager feature convenient but it also leaves me free (as I do in some profiles) to hide the (for me) otherwise redundant Bookmarks item in the FF menu bar. Yes, of course, I know about keyboard shortcuts but I have very limited memory for such codes and so use only very few indeed. So I hope that the 'PanelTab' button, its behaviour and that option are not also under examination here.

No, absolutely not. If I would remove such a feature, then only from the bookmarks and the history. I added this in the past to get a consistent behavior of the buttons. But I realize that only a few users use this feature, probably because it's senseless. These days I'm thinking about what I could remove to make the extension smaller, more user friendly and the options dialog more clearly and better arranged.
I also think about to implement more options as hidden settings, only available via about:config. In the past I thought it's not a good idea, but in the meantime I believe it helps the normal users to keep track of it. I'm sure the advanced users will find the hidden settings (and the hints on the website ).
What's your opinion?
bystander wrote:Not having the dynamic choice for the Error Console and Page Info panels would be a loss of facility for me.
For me too. And very surely for a lot of users.

Mmh, also a feature which is on the checklist (predestinated for deletion). In a future version the library will be accessible as a panel, which will be optimized for the sidebar. I think in this case I can remove the option to open the library in a tab. I also think about to delete all tab related features, except the PanelTab button. I talk about the option to open the panels in a tab with Ctrl+Left-click (which isn't working right now ). Btw, the full name of AiOS is All-in-One Sidebar.
However, none of my ideas are really decided or definitive.

Me too.
